Terms of Use
By using Rovego (the website and the iPhone and iPad app) you agree to these terms.
What Rovego is
Rovego helps you plan trips: it suggests places, orders them into days, estimates travel times and shows them on a map. Suggestions come from automated systems and third-party data and can be wrong or out of date — opening hours, closures, prices, flight times, road and weather conditions change. Always confirm anything important (bookings, flights, safety, daylight, park access) with the official source before you travel. Rovego is a planning aid, not travel, legal, medical or safety advice.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. Keep your sign-in methods secure. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
Your content
You own the trips and notes you create. You give us permission to store, process and display them to provide Rovego, including showing a shared trip to people you invite. Do not upload anything unlawful or that infringes others' rights.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no scraping, reverse engineering, overloading, attempting to access other people's data, or using Rovego to harm others.
Free features and Rovego Passport
Planning a trip yourself ("Plan by myself"), sharing trips (including in iMessage), booking links to Trip.com and keeping records of the flights, hotels and places of your future trips are free. AI trip planning includes 1 free trip. Rovego Passport is an optional subscription that adds unlimited AI trip planning, Calendar sync and offline maps. Adding records of past trips is free for a limited time.
Subscriptions, free trials and cancelling
- Rovego Passport is sold in the iPhone and iPad app through Apple's In-App Purchase, as a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- If a free trial is offered (for example 7 days), you are not charged during the trial. A free trial is available once per Apple ID.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your Rovego account does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Your use of the iPhone and iPad app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Invite rewards
- Every account has a personal invite link and code. When a friend creates a new Rovego account with your link, or enters your code within 7 days of signing up, you receive 1 month of Rovego Passport free.
- You can receive at most 12 free months in any 12-month period. Free months add up and are credited to your Rovego account; the friend who signs up does not receive a reward.
- Each account can use one invite code, and you cannot use your own. Free months have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and end if your account is deleted.
- Free months are separate from any App Store subscription and do not change its billing. We may withhold or remove rewards obtained through fake, duplicate or automated accounts, and we may change or end the invite program; rewards already credited are kept unless they were obtained by abuse.
Bookings through Trip.com
Hotel booking links open Trip.com, a third-party platform. Your booking is made directly with Trip.com under its terms; Rovego is not a party to it. For any question about a booking, payment, change or cancellation, please contact Trip.com.
Third-party services
Maps, places, ratings, photos and directions come from Google Maps Platform and, where used, Apple. Their terms also apply to that content. Links to booking or information sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for those sites.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Rovego running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
Rovego is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from missed flights, closed attractions, fees, or travel decisions made using the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited.
